On Command

When they get to a certain age, you begin to talk about bodily functions with your toddler.  You want them to understand the concepts and be able to tell you when they need to go.  Along with this, a certain amount of terminology changes hands.  Phrases like"go potty",  "poopy" and "poot" become part of the vernacular.  John Campbell takes great pride in his pooting ability.  He can almost do it on command and squeals with joy when he is successful.  This is much to the chagrin of his mother, as you can imagine.  I guess he is just like his father.

Today we are wrestling around on his Thomas the Tank Engine blanket and, sure enough, he lets one rip.  He just rolls with laughter and pride.  Then he repeated the magic three more times.  Yep, just like his father...

He is also learning the concept of smiling for the camera.  Here, he is showing me his teeth.
