Community Helpers Day

John Campbell's kindergarten has something going on every week.  Today is Community Helpers Day.  John Campbell had his heart on being a police officer.  Mama ordered a costume/play set from Target.  Shipping time - 3 to 5 business days.  I ordered it thinking it would be here this week.  Nope, it won't make it until next week.  So, what was a mama to do?  I was going to Huntsville to visit a friend in the hospital, so we swung by TRU to see if they had anything.  I got another set and brought it back with me.  We also ate at Mongolian Stir Fry and it was incredible.  So yummy.  Thank you, Betty, for turning me on to that restaurant.  So, I get back home, he tries it on and loves it.  Mission complete.  Then I look at his daily folder today to make sure I'm not missing anything and his teacher had written that he was worried about his costume.  I feel so bad that my little man has worried about this costume.  I think he is going to be a worrier like his mama.  He woke up for school today raring to go.  Jumped into his costume and was more than happy to brush his teeth, hair and wash his face.  Chief G. is on the case!
