We started the week with storms on Monday. It could have been rough, but things didn't get out of hand, thanks be to God. On Friday, same song, different day. Lots of storms and damage to the north and south of us, but our area remained safe. Thanks be to God!!! Today, the yard is soggy, the plants are happy and the skies are sunny with the remains of the clouds passing on through. I've been exhausted this week for some reason - like pregnancy exhausted. That kind of tired that gets you in your bones. I think it is age. The kids have been restless and the husband has been moody. And I've been moody too. I've caught some sweet photos of the boys the past week. And I've worked on a little online project of my own.
I've seen family rules signs popping up on other blogs. Like this one at My Repurposed Life. I don't have a cricut, good freehand painting skills or a large board, so I decided to play with my little free Photoshop program. Someday, I really am going to get the newest version. Here's what I came up with. I hope I didn't leave anything out. Actually, while I was stirring the green beans tonight, I thought of one more thing I'd like to add - something about learning. "Learn Things." I may go back and tweak and fix. Later.
I used one of my plank wallpapers/backgrounds and borrowed a hue from a plank fence I saw online. Played with the fonts and sizes and that's it. I want to find a place to print it out in high quality. Then, I could put it in a simple frame and hang it.
Here are shots of the boys on Tuesday. We hit the park after school and the boys played hard. They didn't quite make it to bedtime.
If you ever want a man to smile for the camera, just say something naughty to him.
How can Jackson Wynn be comfortable like this?
