Weighs 14lbs. 12oz.
He is able to roll to one side all by himself now, and he is putting a lot of weight on his legs when he stand him up. He is so strong - it is amazing. His smiles are wonderful.
Abbie and I woke up one morning, realising that we had slept through the entire night without a peep! Instantly, we jumped up and checked on him. There he was in the co-sleeper, asleep like a prefect little angel. We made it through the night without waking up! We are getting spoiled now, as John Campbell sleeps very well through the night and sometimes all the way through.
John Campbell is going longer between nursing sessions, but he is getting more each time as he is now a pro-nurser. We are getting the nursing thing down.
He also has quite a set of lungs - he can pierce through a block of ice with that wail. He has no problem letting us know what he wants! He coos and buzzes, makes milk bubbles while nursing, and vocalizes quite a bit.
It is wonderful staring into those deep blue eyes; we make eyes quite a bit. Daddy has a special shoulder hold that John Campbell loves - it is a special thing just between the two of them.
Ever the strong little fellow, his kids can pack a punch. I put him on my legs and raise my kneew so he can kick at my chin. We won't be able to do that much longer - unless I want some teeth missing or a busted lip.
