Backyard Plan

First, we planted some things around the pond/waterfall and worked on that. Then I added things in containers. Then we tore down the confining wall around the pool. now we are slowly scraping up all the old landscaping pebbles that we don't like.

Next, we have a plan to enlarge the area around the pool with paving stones, and want to add a low retaining wall to the backside of the pool, to separate the hardscape from the lawn. I also want to integrate the waterfall area with the rest of the look by using paving stones at the bottom and wall stones to outline an area for plantings on the either side of the waterfall (hill).

I plan to relocate the day lilies, tiger lilies and clematis to that area - centralizing it all in one place for more impact. I also want to move the purple verbena and shasta daisies there. We are digging up bulbs as we clear away the pebbles. They will also go to the waterfall area or to the front yard, around the crepe myrtle.

Materials I want to use:
Patio pavers for around pool: Oldcastle 9"L x 6"W Tan/Charcoal Countryside Paver

Retaining wall:
Oldcastle 12"L Tan/Charcoal Flagstone Wall
