Silent Nights
It is rarely quiet around here, but when the snow started falling, everything got a little quieter as the boys anxiously looked out the windows. It started falling after the sun went down, so it is all silhouetted against the street lights. We laid on the bed and watched it fall. And then my little ones got up and went to the window, and John Campbell pulled his brother close to him and draped his arm around him. He and Jackson Wynn stood there for a few minutes, quietly watching. And I stayed on the bed and watched them. I wished for a camera, but you can't capture every special moment. It's best to live the moment and let it imprint on your brain. In the morning, it will be a rowdy breakfast and then outside to see just how much we have to play in. My husband is determined to go to work. If the roads are closed, he'll have to stay home. Who knows, his keys may vanish.
