We took Mo to the Vet. for his third visit. He is doing great. The kids got bragged on for doing such a good job with him. His skin looks better, his hair is growing out. He has one sore spot beside his bottom, so he is back on prednisone. He's up to 10 pounds. The Dr. said she could tell how much happier he is and she said that she loved with a dog at risk bounced back like Mo has.
John Campbell went with me while Jackson Wynn was at school. He did a great job with Mo. Mo loves to ride and we rode around for a bit after the visit. I actually got us lost on some country roads and we had to use the Mapquest App to get back to town.
I needed a coverup for the beach that was something other than a towel. I couldn't find anything I liked that was under $60.00 and I can't see paying that much for something to get dirty on the beach. I'll pay top dollar on bathing suits because they need to be high quality, but not a coverup.
So I had an idea - get a men's shirt. Cut it up and make it a little girly. I wanted a black shirt, but instead found a pretty blue one. I first cut the arms off, right on the outside of the seam. Then I cut the collar off, again, right on the outside of the seam. Then, to give it a more girly shape, I made gathers at the shoulders to give it more of an A-line feel. Needle and thread and about two minutes to do that. In less than 5 minutes, I had exactly what I wanted. Yippee!!
Here's a photo of John Campbell holding Mo at the vet. visit.
Mo is up to 10 lbs. and John Campbell is weighing in at 54 lbs. No wonder he's starting to really hurt when we wrestle!!
