Anyway, life goes on, whether I'm sick or not. Strange how wives get sick and no one notices, but certain {Abbie} husbands get sick and the world stops turning on its axis. Today, John Campbell to school, and Jackson Wynn and I to get craft supplies. Still haven't found white T shirts for the glue batik project, but I got some ribbon to redo a lampshade that has been an eyesore for a while. I'm not sure I like what I did. It is a dismal accordion shade. I hot glued and wrapped ribbon around it. Well, at least it is different until I find a shade I really like, want and can afford.

I also added just a little blue ribbon trim to a plain white shade in John Campbell's room. I bought wooden initials that we are either going to paint blue or red and maybe apply them to a frame somehow and hang them over the boys' beds. I thought if I could find some fun fabric, we could paint and distress them and then use the fabric as a mat with a cheap frame of some kind. The boys would love to paint them. We'll save that for another day.
I haven't stopped taking photos of the boys. I have been busy making sure both sweet little heads are above the water in the pool. Whenever I ask their daddy to take any shots, he acts like I've asked him to scrub the toilet with his toothbrush. I'm not giving up though. It isn't that hard to point and shoot.
Jackson Wynn has really gotten into the stuffed animals lately. He loves Biscuit, Brownie and Leetow. He has taken to getting in a clothes basket or curled up in a blanket with them and talking to them. I was just seconds late of catching him in a toy bucket with all three. By the time I had snapped, he was already getting out.
And here's one of Abbie, acting like the big kid he can often times be when he's in a good mood. We had been visiting and swimming with Betty and Abbie made us dinner - wonderful spaghetti with cheesy bread - but before eating he streaked through the living room dressed like this. I think this is his impression of the Hillbilly Ninjy.
